Dr. Julie H. Sullivan is the 15th president – and first layperson and woman to serve as president – of the University of St. Thomas.
Sullivan is an innovative academic leader with a purpose. She is known for her commitments to eliminating economic, education and health disparities and promoting racial equity. She is a champion for social innovation and has been a leader in the global Ashoka Changemaker movement.
Sullivan serves on the boards of TCF Financial Corp., Loyola University Chicago Catholic Charities, Minnesota Business Partnership, Greater MSP, Ciresi Walburn Foundation for Children, and Come to Believe Network. She also is a member of WomenCorporateDirectors and Minnesota Women’s Economic Roundtable.
A Florida native, Sullivan has three degrees from the University of Florida, including a Ph.D. in business.
