Dr. Theresa Ricke-Kiely (she/her) is the executive director for the Center for the Common Good at the University of St Thomas. Across the university, she leads the initiatives for community engagement serving students, staff, and faculty. Prior to joining the University of St Thomas, she was the executive director of the Kroc Institute of International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame and associate clinical professor teaching nonprofit and NGO leadership for the Keough School of Global Affairs and the Mendoza College of Business. She teaches transformational, global and nonprofit leadership. Before her academic career, she served large nonprofit organizations, advocating and working on civil rights issues for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As a director, she oversaw 250 staff and managed a budget of over $13 million. As managing partner of Silver Fox Advising, a consulting practice that served national and regional nonprofits, she enjoyed working with various leaders on strategic planning and the management of 501(c)3 organizations.
