Todd Lawrence is Associate Professor of English and American Culture and Difference at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN, where he teaches African American literature and culture, folklore, and cultural studies. His writing has appeared in Journal of American Folklore, Southern Folklore, Open Rivers, and The New Territory. He is co-creator of the George Floyd and Anti-Racist Street Art Database and co-director of the Urban Art Mapping Project.
