In this presentation, we will provide an overview and demonstration of a peer-led learning program implemented at the University of St. Thomas. This program fosters inclusive attitudes and behaviors by applying the SEED (Seeking Educational Equity and Diversity)SM model. The National SEED Project partners with institutions and schools to develop leaders who guide their peers in conversational communities to drive personal, institutional, and societal change toward social justice. Session participants will experience several tools for deepening individual reflection and group dialogue and learn the impact of the program grounded in a research study conducted by Dr. Rama Hart.
